Winter Walk June 2010 - Geelong

Geelong is the second largest city in the state of Victoria Australia
It is a port city located on Corio Bay and the Barwon River, 75 kilometres from Melbourne.
With an urban population of 160,991 people, the urban area runs from the plains of Lara in the north to the rolling hills of Waurn Ponds to the south, with the bay to the east and hills to the west. The city is the home to car manufacturer Ford Australia and the Geelong Football Club, The Cats Geelong was named in 1837 by Governor Richard Burke and it was was proclaimed a city in 1910, with industrial growth.

The Barwon River rises in the Otway Ranges of Victoria.

The river is crossed by a number of bridges in Geelong.

This is Princes Bridge - Balyang Sanctuary
Winter Walk - for me it's an annual extravaganza reality that starts with the morning....

When you think about winter - we all think of spectacular white coat yet only few of us able to imagine that winter is so evergreen.

There are no abandoned trees, the birds are around with their seet songs, everything is so alive and I'm alive with it ...

At the end of this walk I'm asking myself : is there one less or one more walk in my life ... Yeahhh one more :-)
